Frania Houchin

Frania Houchin was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and raised in Northern California. Since 2008 she has managed logistics for an international speaking and performance tour featuring her husband, Wayne. She graduated from the California State University in Chico with a degree in Communication Design, managed the California State Theater in Oroville and is a member of the Curiosidades team which produces large magic events in the Dominican Republic.
In 2011 Frania executed a dual straitjacket escape with Wayne in Santo Domingo. Strapped into regulation straitjackets and suspended 80 feet in the air by two cranes, Wayne and Frania successfully escaped while hanging above a crowd of several thousand. The stunt was dedicated to victims of domestic violence and garnered national attention in the Dominican Republic.
